Victims identified after ‘crazy and cruel’ mass shooting at Fort Lauderdale Airport that killed five, wounded six

Five people were killed and at least six wounded in the gunfire.

A volunteer firefighter from Virginia was among the five people shot to death by a lone gunman at Fort Lauderdale International Airport Friday afternoon, family members revealed as investigators were still scouring the blood-splattered airport for evidence.

Terry Andres was about to go on vacation with his wife when 26-year-old Esteban Santiago opened fire inside the busy Florida airport’s second terminal, prompting scores of terrified travelers to run for their lives and onto the tarmac.

Andres, 62, was one of those who didn’t make it out in time.
